3D PRINTING INSTEAD OF PRESSURE DIE-CASTING

For use in the chemical industry, HENNgineered produced the adjacent safety parts with the highest requirements, including surface machining and threads true to gauge, in many different versions and sizes. Prototypes were manufactured according to series specifications – in significantly shorter time and much more economically than would have been possible with classic machining.

ALSi10Mg was used – it is not for nothing that this alloy is one of the preferred qualities in the aluminium casting and die casting industry worldwide. With its high strength and corrosion, pressure, vibration and heat resistance, it is universally suitable for almost all components – from thimbles to aircraft carriers.
