INNOVATION MEETS PRECISION

For Balluff’s innovative RadarImager, HENNgineered was entrusted with manufacturing the housing halves – a true high-tech project! Balluff’s RadarImager is an industrial 3D imaging system that, thanks to radar technology, can see through a wide variety of packaging materials.

Here is how we successfully realized this project:

• Manufacturing via vacuum casting: Ideal for low volumes and cost-efficient for the customer. Even the very large housing halves were no obstacle with this technology.

• Overcoming challenges: Complex geometry with deep undercuts and strict fire safety requirements.

• Defined and visually appealing surface: Thanks to precise manufacturing, these prototype parts are indistinguishable from series production parts.
