USE CASE

ADDITIVE MOULDING

Additive moulding refers to 3D printed mould inserts made of aluminium or steel for the fast and cost-effective realisation of injection moulded prototypes. This process also allows near-contour tempering directly in the insert. The output quantity is at the same level as in conventional production, since additively constructed metal parts have at least equivalent or even better strength properties than the corresponding alloy as a semi-finished product.

Delivery time and price can thus be reduced by a factor of 2-4 compared to conventional production. Ideally, you will receive the first parts within one week. Production is based on 3D data. This is ideal for injection moulded parts that will not be visible or for prototypes that have to be made in the original material but available within a very short time.
